Eyes of Thankfulness

Today on Daily Faith, we have an incredible faith story to share from our guest, Pastor Chad Roberts. He is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Preaching Christ Church in Kingsport, TN. He is also an author, missionary, and Founder of Awakened to Grace, a spiritual content ministry that helps you engage in the word of God daily. Most people are surprised to discover he is a blind pastor. After losing his eyesight in 2018, instead of cursing the darkness, he embraced this season by putting his trust entirely in Jesus. Empowered by the Spirit, he has reached countless lost souls through his tremendous story of God’s grace and love. Pastor Chad has found a new meaning in life and discovered new levels of trust and contentment in God along the way.

We often face various storms in our lives; some are natural, and others are of our own making. However they come, God is looking at how we will respond. Will we curse the darkness, or will we have a heart of thankfulness? Pastor Chad wants to help equip you with the keys of the kingdom and how to use the word of God against your storm. Pastor Chad released a book entitled, Calling on The Name of The Lord: A Journey to Deeper Prayer to learn how to walk by faith and not by sight.

We have helped to rescue orphaned and abandoned children for over thirty years. In Moldova, many families often send their children to live in an orphanage due to extreme poverty and alcohol abuse. These kids have suffered much and are told no one will ever love them in the orphanages. After they age out of the system, they’re forced onto the streets with nowhere to turn. They are now subject to the lies and false hopes of the human traffickers.

We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and our home in Ukraine. Our homes are filled with love, laughter, and restoration for these kids, as they step out from the storm into a new season of life. The orphan spirit has been broken, and they are reaching beyond their sight, helping those in need. The love of Jesus has developed a heart of thankfulness, and faith is rising as God’s grace is sufficient for their needs. Winter is on the horizon as Putin’s war continues to rage in Ukraine. The government predicts this will be a terrible winter, mainly for the Ukrainian refugee, as we need your help to supply the warmth of God’s love through a warm coat this Christmas.

To be a part of a Christmas miracle, you can give a coat to www.coatsbychristmas.com.
