God’s Power and Presence

On Daily Faith, joining us today is Pastor Brent Simpson. He pastors Arise Church, a multi-campus church in Brandon, FL. Arise Church is one of the fastest-growing churches in America. Their main emphasis is on hosting the presence of God, creating an atmosphere of encounter with the Holy Ghost. By cultivating spaces of encounter with the Lord, they have seen exponential growth, deliverance, and healing in their community. Many people within the church today have become too comfortable with the routines of life. This has caused those to become spiritually blind to what God is doing in our midst. We are living in unprecedented times in America and around the world, where we must have God’s power and presence to withstand these times of adversity. It’s vitally important to understand that the power of God and the knowledge of His word will manifest His presence. It’s time to wake from our sleep and slumber, standing courageously on the word of God. If we want to see the greatest outpouring of the Holy Ghost within our lives and in our country, we must have God’s power and presence.

For those who do not know, we have an outreach ministry called The Orphans Hands in Eastern Europe that helps rescue orphaned and abandoned children, saving them from the hells of human trafficking. In Moldova, many families can’t support themselves and end up sending their little ones to grow up in an orphanage. In the orphanages, they’re told that no one will love them and they will never be anything. These helpless children begin to believe these lies, and fear sets in their hearts. At the age of sixteen, they’re forced out of the orphanage, subject to the false hopes of the human traffickers. We have discovered that caring for their needs and supporting them through the love of Jesus has opened doors for healing and deliverance. The power of the Holy Ghost has forever transformed their lives from this place of encounter. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a former home in Odessa, Ukraine. Due to the war in Odessa, we have evacuated our home safely. Our kids have discovered by giving to the needs of others; they are breaking the orphan spirit within. They are sensitive to the presence of God and want others to see Him as they do. The war on Ukraine has not stopped their outreach; they have continued to host summer camps, teaching kids in various villages about the love of Jesus. They are also meeting the needs of the Ukrainian refugees with food, blankets, and a message of hope.
