Kingdom Principles

On Daily Faith, Philip’s good friend, Pastor Derek Draughon, is joining us to share the Kingdom principles for the body of Christ from the word of God with you. God’s kingdom and the Earthly kingdom are not the same. When our physical or spiritual foundations start to shake, it’s easy to run and hide until it’s over, but that is when the church should arise and stand for what we believe. God has given us principles of promise to agree with and enact in our lives. All of God’s promises are Yes and Amen. Therefore, when you set your heart to believe in the word of God by faith, He stands with you in agreement. God is for you and not against you. It’s about shifting our perspective on how we see our problems. Pastor Derek wants to encourage you to use the word of God as the lens through which you should be viewing your situations. What are you investing in, and what does God say about it? Pastor Derek is the Senior Pastor of Saraland First in Saraland, AL. The Orphans Hands ministry is the beating heart within. We have been rescuing abandoned and orphaned from the terrible risks of human trafficking for over thirty years. In Moldova, many children are forced to live in an orphanage by the lack of care from their loved ones. They are kicked out at sixteen with only the clothes on their backs and a bus ticket to where they came. We have become a connection point for these hopeless kids at The Orphans Hands. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. It’s a safe and warm environment for kids whose families and society have abandoned. The recent home that we are opening called Betzer House will house up to fifteen more children, saving them from a life of despair. Upon arriving at our homes, they are given everything they need to better themselves. Our kids have a new perspective to view life; the love of Jesus has invaded their hearts, changing them by His grace poured out. Our kids are reaching out and ministering to those they once were, laying a foundation of forgiveness and peace, and to those whose tired feet, they understand. As we invest in their future, they are learning Kingdom principles through the word of God that will help them along life’s journeys. Thank you for your generous support.
