Steps of Revival: Sustaining It & Sensing the Holy Spirit

We’re excited to welcome Jason Mayfield as a guest on Daily Faith. Having served in the pastoral ministry for over a decade, Jason and his wife, Ashleigh, are the founders of Jason Mayfield Ministries. Jason is enthusiastic about teaching God’s word and grace on various topics. In today’s episode, Jason shares insights on the steps of revival and how to sustain it. Throughout history, there have been many giants of the faith who paved the way for revival, and now, the question is not how but when it will happen.

To sustain revival, we need to identify what sparks it. While we cannot predict when the next great revival will happen in America or the world, we can take faithful steps to sustain it with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jason’s goal is to help you understand the sensing of the Spirit and how to bring it into your church. Stepping out of our comfort zone and trying new things can be uncomfortable but worthwhile. We encourage you to take one act of obedience today and see how it impacts the Kingdom of God.

It’s easy to get stuck in a state of spiritual apathy, but we must remember that our faith requires faithful obedience and a continuous pursuit of the love of God. This faith is exemplified in The Orphans Hands, a ministry dedicated to rescuing helpless children from the cold grip of abandonment and despair and the risks of human trafficking. We provide a village of homes in Moldova and a house in Odessa, Ukraine. The Orphans Hands shows these children the love of Jesus that has sustained the revival within their hearts. They’re no longer orphaned but have gained a sense of purpose and are on fire for the Lord and desire to minister to those whose needs they once knew.

The Orphans Hands understands that time is of the essence, and they’re doing all they can to make a difference and sustain the revival of love and compassion in the world. By living sold out and on fire for Jesus, they’ve become God’s hands extended to the lost and hurting generation, leading teams in various outreach missions across the country and even into other countries through our Constant Care ministry. You’ll never go wrong when you follow the Holy Spirit.

To help save a life and care for those in need way beyond your grasp, take the time to listen to the Spirit’s leading and act in obedience. Visit our website, www.theorphanahands.org.
