The Feasts of Tabernacles

On Daily Faith, we welcome back Pastor Mike Coleman to the show. He is the Lead Pastor of Church Alive Orlando in Winter Park, FL. He is a Biblical Archeologist who unveils backstories of the Bible, bringing history to light in a modern world. Today, Pastor Mike Coleman would like to walk you through some of the Jewish Feasts mentioned in the Old Testament in the Bible and share the importance of understanding how Biblical feasts relate to our walk today. There are seven biblical feasts listed in the Bible, and in the Spring of this year, four of the feasts we see Jesus has fulfilled. There was a time when the Israelites disobeyed God and wandered in the wilderness for forty years; however, God was faithful and kept His promises to them. Although they suffered amid their wandering, God brought them into their promised land at the end of a generation. We are currently celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles. Pastor Mike wants to encourage your heart that God’s presence is there with you no matter what season you find yourself in. God has never left you, and He never will. If you are experiencing a season of wandering in your walk with God, we encourage you to recount the ways God has been gracious to you and how He has helped you—offering songs of praise from a grateful heart! There is life, purpose, and destiny in celebrating these feasts. When we put on a spirit of thankfulness, it’s sure to spark a revival in your heart! The Orphans Hands Ministry is the heart of our mission work in Moldova, Eastern Europe. Due to poverty and lack of support in this area, we have been rescuing kids for over thirty years. Most kids in Moldova are often sent out of their homes to grow up in an orphanage or live in poverty-stricken homes. When they become of age, they are kicked out, forcing them to find a job and place to live. We are the point of intersection between the risks of human trafficking and a new life in Jesus Christ. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. Our kids are learning how the blood of Jesus has saved them and brought redemption for their souls. They are experiencing God’s presence in their lives, growing daily, and standing on the promises of God. They desire to see others coming to know Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. We’ve recently welcomed thirteen more kids into our homes that we would like to show you. With your love and support through Jesus, we are caring for orphans and rescuing those in need. Thank you!
