The Heart of Mission Work

On Daily Faith, Philip would like to introduce you to his guest, Pastor Doug Seaman, who shares a heart for global missions. Pastor Seaman is the lead pastor at Central Assembly of God in Cumberland, MD. The God-given passion that burns in his heart is for reaching the lost and broken souls of this fallen world for the Kingdom of God. He leads an international ministry called Cry Of Deliverance International Ministries, where he travels a few times a year in many countries holding crusades. He was recently in Pakistan, where many of these people have never heard of the name Jesus. Pastor Seaman considers it a tremendous privilege to pray and minister, sharing the love Jesus freely gives. He has seen hearts restored, eyes unveiled to know the truth, bodies healed, and incredible miracles from God. All of this was only possible through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. When Pastor Seaman first began in ministry, this type of outreach was not what he had in mind when he accepted the call of God for his life. But in the process, he was opening a space in his heart for the Lord to work mightily through him. We are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, and we are to make disciples of all men, sharing the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We want to encourage you and let you know that it doesn’t matter where you are or what you are doing; if you give your heart to the Lord, He will find you and give you a task that fulfills His Kingdom’s purpose through your life. If you are available today, God will use you. For more information about Central Assembly of God in Cumberland, MD, please visit www.centralaog.org

The Orphans Hands is the heart of our mission work. We help rescue and save young children from the risks of human trafficking. In Moldova and Ukraine, we have a ministry of homes where these once orphaned and abandoned children come alive. It’s a safe place where they can grow up, learning who they are in Christ. We tell them that upon coming home, “If you are born, God has a plan.” God has a tremendous plan for their lives, and we have the honor of teaching these children the ways of the Lord. Once orphaned, now missionaries for Jesus, they have discovered their place in the Kingdom of God and enjoy sharing what they have learned with kids in nearby villages. They’re practicing for their upcoming Summer play for the outreach ministry they have started. They have made themselves available for the Lord’s work and are beginning to see a harvest. Thank you for your prayers and continued support! For more information about The Orphans Hands Ministry, please visit www.theorphanshands.org.
