Why Israel Still Matters

On Daily Faith, Pastor Mark Ivey is here to discuss the historical and biblical importance of the land of Israel and why it matters in our nation today. It’s a beautiful love story of how the body of Christ is intertwined with God’s chosen people. Since the beginning of time, God made a covenant with Abraham and chose the land of Israel to be a place that would bear His name, and one day He will return to Israel to gather His people home. But for such a small territory, over the years, the land of Israel has been under fire. Israel’s people have been exiled, the city under siege, the land burned, and kingdoms rise and fall within. Pastor Mark Ivey brings revelation from the scriptures to enlighten the eyes of your heart to grasp this struggle through the years. The key is understanding this battle between God vs. Satan, God’s people vs. Satan’s people. It’s vitally important that America and surrounding nations grasp these essential truths and facts about Israel and our desperate need to support God’s country. The word of God is clear about those who bless and support Israel and those who do not. America, men, and women of God, it’s time to wake up and stand with Israel. Pastor Mark Ivey is the Senior Pastor at Christ Alive Church in Newton, NC. The Orphans Hands is the heart of our mission work. We have a village of homes in Eastern Europe, Moldova, and a house in Ukraine. Moldova is one of the most impoverished countries in Europe. Many of the children who live there grow up in an orphanage. They have been left feeling abandoned, lost, and afraid, thinking they are unwanted and unloved. They have no support from the outside and grow up without the love of a family. For over 30 years, we have been rescuing these unwanted children from living a desperate life, saving them from the perils of human trafficking. Upon coming into Vatra Village, they have discovered the love of Jesus, becoming sons and daughters of Christ. They realize that they are, too, God’s chosen people. They are learning daily how the Lord has a great plan for their lives. One of our older girls has gotten married and moved to Israel to study and see where Jesus walked. She now wants to return to help teach the new girls and boys, and children from the nearby villages fundamental truths of the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Recently they created, filmed and edited, a video to share with you about the love and support you have sown into their lives. They want to say thank you!
