Outward Focus Inward Reward
On Daily Faith, we welcome Pastor James Coffey of The Harbor Church in LaFollette, TN. Pastor James never intended for their outreach ministry to turn into a church. As the need grew, so did the help. They discovered that many members were not Christians or simply didn’t have a home church. With vision and focus, The Harbor was birthed from a need. Today, The Harbor has an outreach called Hope Center. This ministry has a clothing center, food bank, and recovery center, and they partner with other organizations to support the surrounding community’s needs. They have caught the vision of God and are running with it. They believe that as they gather to meet with Jesus, He fills them up to be poured out in helping others. Their mission goes beyond the four walls of the church. They live a lifestyle of helping and reaching others for the Kingdom of God. If we can gather the inward focus of the church to have an outward posture of need, then we’ll shift our focus from ourselves to God’s purpose. We want to encourage you to open your heart to those around you; as you do, God will extend His hands of provision to you!

For those of you who don’t know, the war in Ukraine is getting worse. Putin has tightened his grip on their heating supplies, causing a crisis before winter set in. Without support, these people will suffer a great deal and end up losing a loved one. Our lease is up on our home in Odessa, Ukraine, and we’re in desperate need of a miracle to purchase the house to help rescue those suffering from the effects of war. For those who don’t know, The Orphans Hands ministry has helped to rescue orphaned and abandoned children from the risks of human trafficking for many years. These families have suffered extreme poverty, abuse, and lack, forcing them to send their children to an orphanage. At sixteen, these helpless children are now vulnerable to false hope from human traffickers. Our homes in Moldova, Vatra Village, and our house in Odessa, Ukraine, support and provide for the needs of these hopeless children. The love of Jesus has brought great faith, healing, and restoration to their hearts. Now sons and daughters, missionaries for God’s Kingdom. Although Putin has taken away almost all of their supplies to live, our kids are focused on giving back and sharing hope with the Ukrainian refugees. Our kids are grateful for your love and continued support in these desperate times.
Please consider partnering with us and becoming part of our Odessa Home Miracle with The Orphans Hands. Please visit www.theorphanshands.org.
