We Are To Be The Church – Discipleship
Daily Faith is here to encourage your faith walk with the Lord. We believe that there is nothing more powerful than a seed of faith. Pastor Jeff Noble, our guest, would like to talk to you about discipleship and what it means to be the church. He is the pastor of Northstar Church in Blacksburg, VA. The Lord called him into ministry many years ago and has given him a heart of compassion to help the lost reach Jesus through discipleship. As the body of Christ, we are to show others the love of Jesus, not only through our words but through our actions. We’re here to help one another by lifting their needs before the Lord in prayer, supporting, mentoring, and discipleship. All of this starts with a relationship with Jesus Christ. Developing a heart of intimacy with the Lord is vital for our daily faith walk. There are four fundamental principles that Pastor Jeff would like to discuss with you today. As you go about your daily walk with Jesus, we pray that you will open your heart to hear what He is telling you and that you will respond in obedience to His call. There might be someone God is sending your way that needs your help. For more information about Northstar Church with Pastor Jeff Noble, please visit www.northstarfamily.org.
For over 30 years, we have had a ministry in Moldova, in Eastern Europe. Moldova is one of the most poverty-stricken countries in Eastern Europe and has the highest death rate tied to alcohol abuse. Most of the children in the villages are kicked out of their homes by their parents or loved ones, and they’re told that no one will ever love them and are often sent to an orphanage. They’re left to grow up without the love of a family and are stuck with feelings of abandonment. The Orphans Hands ministry is the heart of what we do. We have a village of homes called Vatra Village, and we help to rescue these broken and orphaned children from a life of sorrow and abuse and the perils of human trafficking. Upon coming into our homes, they experience the love of a Father and discover how God saved them. They have been discipled in Christ’s love becoming sons and daughters for Him. Their hearts have grown in the love of Jesus, and they are excited to share what they have learned with those who hurt them. We want to show you a glimpse of what your continued prayers and support help do in the lives of these children. Thank you.
